Our Story
Hoppy’s journey began in April 2001 when the founders, inspired by their mother’s need for scooter repairs, noticed a lack of local repair services in their community. It started with a scooter bought for their mother. When it needed fixing, they couldn’t find help nearby. So, they decided to do something about it.
Seeing their mom’s health decline, they realized others might need help too. They expanded their repair shop, selling not just scooters but also power chairs, stair climbers, and vehicle lifts.
In 2004, facing their own health challenges, one of them got sick. This made them even more determined to help. They once again recognized the need for additional products to enhance the quality of life for individuals like themselves.
This led to the introduction of a wide range of medical supplies, ensuring comfort and dignity for customers in their own homes. They added more stuff to their shop, like special beds and wheelchairs, to make life easier for people with health issues.
Hoppy’s grew from a repair shop into a place of support in their community. It showed that with care and hard work, you can make a difference in people’s lives.
